Lustemberg Consultancy took form a few years ago, when I, Richard Lustemberg, was seeking for ways handle the surging amount of work I was facing as a systems consultant, web developer, jack of all trades IT worker.
I called on my sister Samara's experience as database developer and manager and we set the company in 2008.
Since 2010, I decided to focus on software development, in a joy oriented type of choice.
The IPhone, and the Google Phone were already raving, and with them, the current explosion on the demand of mobile application development.
There is something magical about this new mobile technologies. There's this sci-fi vibe about them, and what they make possible is redefining our lifestyle.
And to programmers, it allowed us to become 'software development companies in a garage' . By that I mean that thanks to Apple's and Google's mobile sdk's (programming libraries), software developers working individually can produce mobile apps on their own and in relatively short amounts of time.
I am riding very joyfully on this 'innovation wave' and nowadays I barely do any other kind of IT work!
So what is that is my focus now?:

• Developing IOS and Android apps (cross plattform) using Appcelerator's Titanium Mobile sdk's
• Developing online backends for these apps, using mainly Drupal and CodeIgniter API's
• Web development and Drupal implementations
• Playing on one of my 8 guitars and writing songs

As a consequence, LC's site also had to change.
This is the first step, soon more will come...
